Abstract

David Damrosch is a Professor of Literature and Chair of the Department of Comparative Literature at Harvard University. In addition to being an author and editor, Damroš also contributed to the world and comparative literature by founding the Institute for World Literature at Harvard, a summer school intended for postgraduate students, professors and researchers at the beginning of their careers, which gathers more than a hundred participants from all over the world every year.
