Digitization as a Factor of Dissemination of Scientific Publications in Humanities and Social Sciences in Serbia
Empirical Findings
Abstract
The transformation of digital technologies changes the methods of dissemination of scientific results. With the expansion of the Internet, needs for sharing of ideas and materials among scientific researchers increase. Since 1991, when the first digital archive was established, the expansion of these systems has advanced following the software solutions. This paper presents findings of research Digitization of scientific results in social humanities and social sciences, supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. The main goal of this paper is to determine the level of attitudes and preferences of the researchers from social sciences and humanities in the process of using digital repositories in Serbia.
