Метамодернизам: прилог Вермеленовом и Ван Дер Акеровом тумачењу појма
Сажетак
У раду се тумаче значења и одлике метамодернизма као доминантне културне парадигме двадесет првог века. Метамодернизму се приступа пре свега као сензибилитету који највише осликава данашњицу, а не као уметничком/стваралачком програму. Анализирајући тумачење појма метамодернизам Тимотеја Вермелена и Робина ван ден Акера, а на трагу опозиција између модернизма и постмодернизма о којима је писао Ихаб Хасан, уочава се да одређени аспекти метамодернизма захтевају додатну пажњу и разматрања. Стога се у раду посебно расветљавају терминолошке одлуке, потом дефиниција метамодернизма као „структуре осећања“ једног времена и, коначно, метамодернизам као оживљавање неоромантизма. Студија указује на амбивалентну природу приступа метамодернизму који уважава, с једне стране, принципе историцизма и периодизације културе и уметности (у чијем окриљу се чита опозиција метамодернизам – постмодернизам), и с друге, над-историјски (мета) приступ, према коме је метамодернизам интегративан и перманентно осцилира између постмодернистичке деконструкције и метамодернистичке реконструкције, паратаксе и мита, пастиша и metaxis-a.
